Online Lessons
Enjoy the advantage of taking music lessons remotely from your home without travelling to my studio. Flexible time schedules are especially beneficial for international students or those living in different time zones. Sign up for private music lessons over Skype in the following areas:
- Music Theory, Harmony & Ear Training
- Jazz Improvisation
You will need to have the following equipment:
- Computer (PC or Mac).
- Webcam w. integrated Microphone - Logitech™ has a range of models that you can chose from. Most laptops nowadays are sold with integrated webcams.
- High-speed internet connection (DSL or Cable) - around 256Kbps or higher is preferred for video conferencing
- Headphones - you may be required to use them if audio from your speakers is being picked up by your mic and being transmitted back

Skype account - Skype is a free service that allows you to make calls over the internet. [Download Skype for Windows or Mac OSX].
Once you have set it up, add my contact (which I will have e-mailed you), and we will meet at your scheduled lesson time. I will arrange to meet a few minutes prior to our first lesson, so we can sort out technical issues, if any -
Your instrument should be in proximity to your Skype computer.
~ Lesson Policies, Fees & Schedules
- Fees vary based on the type of lessons. E-mail me to inquire about lesson timings and fees.
- Lessons timings will be scheduled in advance and are of an hour's length in duration. Please make sure you are present for your online lesson at the scheduled time.
- Lessons can be paid for individually or as a package. Fees are payable immediately after the lessons via PayPal or cheque. (PayPal accepts all major credit cards so you don't need to create a Paypal account to make a payment).
- Once lesson times have been confirmed, they are considered permanent. Refunds will not be made for students who commit to other activities which conflict with their lesson or class, unless a notice of 24 hours is given, following which a credit or a re-scheduled lesson will be arranged for. Should I cancel a lesson, a full refund or credit will be given.
- Internet connection and webcam setup is the responsibility of the student.
